UNL Admissions Website Ranks in Top 5%

October 29th, 2006

A recent email circulating around the University from our dean of admissions and chancellor:

Our Admissions Website received an “A”
The National Research Center for College & University Admissions reviewed and evaluated every college website in the United States (over 3,000). As part of the study, high school students were asked to score college websites across the country. The survey examined many website web features such as the ability for students to apply online, find tuition or financial aid information, and the ability to set-up a campus visit. They also graded the college on the website’s design and the ease of navigation. The students gave each college a “Grade” that ranged from A to F.
The research center informed me this week that the UNL admissions website received an A grade, one of only 157 schools nationwide receiving the top rating. This puts UNL in the top 5% of all college admission websites. Congratulations to everyone who has contributed to our website’s development. Clearly, your work is having an impact and making a difference!

The admissions website is put together by Seth Meranda, who has done a fantastic job on the Admissions website within the UNL templates.

Awesome. Cheers all.
