I’m pretty excited that this little band I’m a fan of might be getting back together.
The Freddy Jones Band is booked to perform on Navy Pier for New Years Eve in Chicago. They came together for a benefit in August for the Boys & Girls club which they headlined despite some objections from fans of Mr. Blotto and The Subdudes. But this will be their second concert together since the band dissolved in 1999 in I believe.
If anyone wants to record ABC 7’s New Years Eve show for me I’d really appreciate it. Heh.
And if you don’t have it yet, Waiting for the Night is a must have.
